Neckarkreis

[492] Neckarkreis, Kreis des Königreichs Württemberg, umfaßt 3330 qkm (60,48 QM.), zählt (1905) 811,433 Einw. (244 auf 1 qkm), davon (1900) 657,329 Evangelische, 76,595 Katholiken und 5544 Juden, und bestand 1905 außer der Stadt Stuttgart, mit der übrigens 1904 die Stadt Kannstatt vereinigt ist, aus 16 Oberämtern:
